Revelstoke, BC - Jasper, AB

Having arrived in the dark the night before,
the morning sun gave way to the mountains all around us.

Heading straight into the Rockies,
we knew we had a beautiful day ahead of us.

Perfect traveling weather as it was a bit overcast.
And not a car in sight.

Just us alone in the mighty Rocky Mountains :)

Glaciers and lakes

The man and his dog enjoying some snow

Cold beautiful glacier lake

Minnie, feeling much better after having stretched her doggie legs and
leaving a "mark" in the rockies

We came across these wild bighorn sheep

Ahhhh, the Park Field Glacier-
the last time I was here was in 1999 with my german friend Sanne

A huge blanket of blue ice

This cold crow came to check out whether we had any food...

We made it to Jasper by late afternoon, just after dark.
We will spend two nights here to take in the sights a bit and give Minnie some good walks.
