Fort Frances, ON - Thunder Bay, ON

A cold windy morning in Fort Frances

Today we are off to Thunder Bay, only about 340 km's away,
but travelling this time of the year we want to make it there before
the darkness sets in

Bald Eagles everywhere
tons of them!

We are kind of "used" to having them around us from BC -and not few either,
but here were sooo many!

The sun never fully came through,
but it was good traveling weather

Nobody on these roads, just us...

We reached the Atlantic Watershed
from where all streams flow south into the Atlantic Ocean:

Frozen lakes

Traveling buddies :)

Minnie "gained" some height as one off the suitcases slid off
and she sat atop of it.
Almost touched the sealing with her head.
Note Chatchi peeking around the corner of his triple-wrapped cage :)

Coming down into Thunder Bay facing massive Lake Superior.

It's not too dark yet
and we have some time to explore.

But first we will check in and give the animal kingdom some attention..
Talk to you tomorrow!
