House with potential

As you know we are here to hopefully find a house with some land....
So I thought it would be fun to take you along with us....
Virtual house-hunting, so to speak..

 There have been many properties we looked at and most of them are old, need a ton of money and did not make the cut.

Yes, we are very picky :)
 

This one we liked because it had quite a few things we are looking for:

Privacy, land, forest and a solid house.   

Even though it was not great from the outside, we thought it could work. 
Very dated, but the potential for the land endless...

Yes, this land all belongs to the property

"What do you want with so much land?"

one might ask.

Fair question.

"Share it" comes immediately to my mind.

If you have land, you can find many uses for it.

A small piece of land can sustain and feed many.

It can be a shelter and a sanctuary for Gods creatures.

Land gets swallowed up all around us by the big corporations and subdivision are going in...

To own land to me means to protect it from being swallowed up.

It protects the vegetation, the wildlife and the trees from being pushed out.

So, yes it would be nice to have some land  

if is is within our budget, of course :)

In the end there were two others offers on the table before ours and we did not get it...

We believe that things happen for a reason, in fact
we know that everything has it's time.

So we choose to be patient and enjoy the journey.
